Create a photo album - quickly

Ok I feel like an idiot again. I just put photos in 3 different albums and followed your instructions and only the last album shows up and there are no pictures in it. I can't beleive that I went to school for computers and cannot do this simple task. I put 45 pics on and nothing shows. I am tired maybe I should go to bed LOL
but I don't work tonite or the next two nights.

Ok I see they are all in the sam album so thats OK there are three that the pics don't show up (don't know why) and how do I get one of the pics to be my algum cover? One more question When you click on te pics they are REALLY BIG. ooooohhhhhh schucks ..Must be a Minnesotaaaa thing

Wow, I see what you mean about BIG. Maybe Scott or Armin can help us with the sizing in the album.... if you can go to the picture in your computer, you could re-size it to appx. 300 x 300 pixels or less, and then it should be OK to put it the album. If you don't see the pixels in the sizing, then ask Scott about how large to set it for in inches. I'm sure they can help you.

Yeah for such small birds they surely come off huge just like it says Samll parrot with big attitude

In the new album I have set the max size as 800x600 if your photos you have uploaded are larger than that the system will automatically shrink them.
This only works on photos uploaded after I made the change (sorry Grannykat I noticed you have uploaded a bunch that are quite large)

its okay :-) you dont need to resize them any more; it is done automatically. if you like I can resize all the ones uploaded before I put in the automatic shrinker thing :-) just let me know

Oh man, so there is no easy way to just flip it from one place to the other? It's a pick each picture all over again and upload them? I'm out. LOL

Awww....Scott, you shouldn't have gone to that trouble. You are too sweet. I woke up at 3:29am this morning wondering about them again and thinking about the cat pics that I uploaded yesterday, but then remembering that I went through the new photo albumn upload thing and coudn't attach to the old albumn. Am I making any sense? Anyway, you are a dear to take the time and do that for me. I wish I were more computer savvy and had arranged my pics better on my computer, you know, saved them better. I mass download, then I have to go through every folder to find what I'm looking for. I gave some of the folders names and some are just the date. At one time I congregated some of them into folders, lovies, tiels, quakers, regular pets, etc. I need to go back and do the rest and then move them to a CD so I don't loose them. When my computer gets too much junk on it and melts down I loose all of my pics. That is such a bummer.

Craftqueen, your method of putting a lot of pictures in one folder happens to be mine, too, and I need to make separate folders and sort them. I worry about my old computer melting down, and I would lose so many pictures. We have to do this now and not dream about it! Love, Janbabe

Jan, I love to take photos and I take tons of them, especially like the wild birds, I keep thinking I will make some flip books. Where you point the camera at one place and just keep snapping as the birds come and go. I have such a good view out my kitchen window to the bird bath and feeder.

PLEASE HELP,I can't seem to upload my pictures I have followed each of these steps and I just kep getting this message:

CraftQueen, if you are still reading posts, how is your bird feeder now -- lots of birdies and babies -- put some photos in if you have new ones. I love to see those babies flying for the first time.
