Parrotsecrets.com Nathalie Roberts is a scam avoid like the plague

    Boycott ParrotSecrets.com

http://www.parrotsecrets.com is another one of those 'pay for training' websites run by a nice bird trainer who has owned birds for the past 12 years; her name is Nathalie Roberts or so you think.

Nathalie Roberts is Sumantra Roy a 23 year old internet entrepreneur who lives in India; he doesn't even own birds nor has he ever.

Sumantra Roy paid for his training material to be written for him by freelance writers on the internet who just copied examples from books that Sumantra Roy sent the writers from Amazon.com.

In the last few years Sumantra Roy has pocketed an upwards of $2 million US from his parrotsecrets website pretending to be Nathalie Roberts someone he is not.

Other sites owned by Sumantra Roy which are also scams.

Omg, I got an email from this person about a year ago wanting me to purchase their bird training material. I think had it not been so expensive, I would have been tempted to buy it, the info they send you is interesting and I guess designed to trick you into thinking they know what they are doing. This Nathlie Roberts also uses a "husbands" name in some of her material. He is supposed to be the expert in some areas while she is the expert in others. I deleted everything from them cause I wasn't interested and now I am glad I didn't.

      Thanks for the warning Scott.
Scary, isn't it. And those look like normal titled companies, they don't look fishy at all. And if all of the literature is well versed, and unsuspicious as well, that would make it even harder to tell it was a scam. Some of the scams are poorly written in very bad english and tip you off.

I think these people copy things that are in reputable books, change the wording just enough, then publish it as their own. Alot of the stuff they are selling is available free on the internet or in books readily available.

I bought some of the stuff *face/palm* but most of the material is actually useful, even if it is a scam. I didn't even know that it was, even after reading the books, until I saw this on here, so he's not selling any truly "bad" advice, but it's annoying to know that he's such a sleeze ball.

Wow......I signed up for a free newsletter from "her" a long time ago.......the little tidbits of "tips" were common sense and the majority was nothing but an ad to buy "her" program, which I thought rather expensive anyway, so I never did buy anything. I still occasionally get e-mails. How was it found out that she was a he, etc.?? What about "BirdTricks" and Chet Womack.....I also get e-mail from him?

I also saw her ad, and replied. It was common knowledge info, and a whole bunch of buy my stuff emails. luckily I didn't bite.
